Cannot print Works 8.0 spreadsheet only

Hello. I have strange problem with printing in Microsoft Works 8.0. Printing with default HP DeskJet 6000 printer works fine except when I try to print spreadsheet. I receive error saying I have no default printer installed. This is not true because printer is set to default and it works with any other application. Do you know something about this problem?

Hello. This problem is known to happen with Microsoft Works and HP DeskJet printer series. Solution for this problem is provided by HP and it involves some heavy registry editing. This problem occurs when two registry keys that are defining default printer are not identical. If you want to follow whole lengthy procedure of registry editing you should visit HP web site and search for it. Otherwise, safer way to solve this problem is to reinstall Microsoft Works.
