Cannot install windows 2000 on my Armada

I have formatted hard drive and decided to install Windows 2000 on my Compaq Armada. I place Windows 2000 installation CD in CD drive and start installation. Everything goes fine until part where Windows is installing device drivers. Here installation freezes and I have to restart computer. Do you know how to solve this issue?

Installation freezing during device driver installing is almost sure sign that something is wrong with your hardware. Unfortunately, it is very hard to troubleshoot this problem correctly because almost any part in your computer can make this problem. Just to try your luck, enter BIOS settings and load fail-safe defaults. It can help sometime. Otherwise, contact technical support or take computer to some technician how will be able to determine what is really wrong with your machine.
