Cannot install usb keyboard on hub

Hello! I have some problem here. My computer is Intel P4 machine. I am using Windows XP SP1 OS. The problem is next. I bought new USB keyboard. And when I want to install it there is a problem with the hub. It’s like without connection. Does anybody can tell me what I can do? Thanks for your time and advice.

Hi! So, you have a problem with hub. I don’t know how to help you but I will try. Maybe I can suggest you something. You can try to insert their old keyboard. If old keyboard doesn’t work, that is maybe hub problem. But if your old keyboard woks, your new keyboard is bad. In that case I suggest you to reclaim it.
