Hello! I have purchased new NEC dvd-rw drive. I have properly installed them in my case, but somehow in Device Manager I can see that my drive is SCSI one and that it is cd reader. I do not know why this happening. I use windows XP operating system. Have you any idea how I can solve this problem?

Hello! I suggest you to uninstall this drive in Device Manager and after that install it again. If this does not help, then you should boot safe mode and there uninstall it and reboot your system. Device Manager should recognize it properly; but, if it does not recognize it, I suggest you to reinstall your system.
