| Greetings. I am trying to share one dial up modem and it’s 56k connection to the other computer, but I don’t have any progress regarding my operation. I don’t know what else to try to find an option for sharing dial up modem, and what is more worse, my computer experience level is not highly rated at all. Any help is appreciated. |

| Hello. There is no option to turn internet connection sharing on or off, actually there is a check box where you need to click in order to do that. Go to the Network connections folder and right-click on the connection that you want to share. Choose properties, and on the middle upper tab, you will find allow other computers to connect trough this computer. One more thing, the gateway of the primary PC where the modem is, should be blank. The gateway of the other computer should be the IP address of the host computer. |
