| Yesterday I bought external HDD and it worked just fine. Since this morning, I have been experiencing some problem. When I want to plug it, my Belkin external hdd is not recognized. I think that I, maybe, made an error with buying unknown brand drive. What brand would you recommend me? |

| I don't think that your problem is related with you drive manufacturer. I also have an unknown brand external HDD and I don't have any problems with it. You did not experience those problems from the beginning. Therefore, I think you should check what you do on your computer yesterday. Maybe you installed some new driver or software that could cause your problem. Maybe your drive just has some temporary problem. Because of that, you should try to reformat it once again from some other computer. If you still want to change your external HDD, choose Kingston just because of their five-year warranty. |
