Cannot establish network between Toshiba satellite 300 and PC

I have two computers in home network. One is Toshiba Satellite 300 laptop and other one is a usual desktop computer. Those two computers are connected via router. I have the problem because I can not establish network between Toshiba Satellite and PC. I would really appreciate if you could offer me some help with this problem.

Have you tried to access internet from Toshiba laptop on that network. If you can not connect to another computer in network it might be some problem with router settings or settings on laptop. I guess that you are connecting over wireless connection to router. Have you checked wireless security on the router and possible mismatch in encryption protocols configured on laptop and router?
