Cannot do a System Restore

For the first time during Windows XP usage I was in need of system restore and I was not able to perform it. When I tried to do system restore I got error message saying that Restoration Incomplete. Your computer cannot be restored etc.. This happens with every single restore point I have tried. Do you know how to solve this problem?

There are few things that Microsoft suggest when System restore is not working, but I do not think they can help you a lot because I have heard of such problems and none of them was solved using Microsoft advices. Your best shot is to boot in safe mode and try to do System restore. I know this is not very practical, but you do not do System restore every day so this can help you restore your computer to previous state. You should also buy GO-BACK software which is a lot better then Microsofts System restore feature.
