| I've been using the internet for a year and everything worked fine. However, since a month ago, I could not defend from viruses. I even reinstalled my operating system twice but it did not help me any longer. No more then day or two on the Internet and I have the same problems. Not long ago, I start using Opera as my new web browser. Now have the same problems with Opera as I have with Internet explorer. Do you know for any safe Internet browser? |

| There are other browsers beside the explorer and one of the most popular lately is Opera. Is Opera safer then Internet explorers is questionable. Many users think that it is safer. However, I have to disagree with them because I am also spending much time on the Internet with explorer and I do not have any problems. You just need some reliable anti-spyware and anti-virus protection. If you have Windows XP, you will also need SP2 to be installed. All those things will not slow your machine much and will give you enough protection. About your problem with opening some web pages, I do not think that explorer is responsible for that. It could be, either, a problem with your provider or those pages are infected and your anti-virus software or your firewall blocks your access to those pages. |
