| I cannot be sure is your problem connected to some virus. Anyway, first you should try is to check your machine for viruses. By my experience, using a combination of SpyBot Search and Destroy and AVG should be the best tool for that. Those programs are both freeware which is good, but, what is even more important, that is not reducing their efficiency at all. It is a deathly combination for viruses. The best proof for that is that I am also on the Internet almost every day, I am using IE and I do not have any problems. If you have Windows XP, install Service Pack 2. If nothing of this helps, you should do a surface test of your hard drive because there is a possibility that you have a bad sector and that it is located in your Internet Explorer Favorites folder, which is causing you problems. |
