| My neighbors and made a home network between our computers. The whole idea was to share one DSL connection for using the Internet. Because of its speed, it can satisfy our needs and we would spend less money each. However, that is not work. I can't set up Home network between two XP PCs. What could be the problem? |

| Do not worry, we were all newbies once. The thing you should is calling port forwarding. However, you can do that by using software or hardware. If you want to do that with software emulation, you must have some bigger experience. I assume that you don't so let us get back to the hardware solution. To do port forwarding you will need a special device called network router. Switch and hub will not help you. When you connect your XP PCs on router, you will not have any further problems with accessing the Internet over DSL. Have fun! |
