I just installed Firefox 2, and it's doing OK so far, I guess… except for this one thing. On some sites, like for example theonion.com, it won't load pages properly. Abut 9/10 images fail to load, showing only placeholders, and text stubs are sometimes overlayed. I never had this issue with older versions of the browser. Anyone know what's wrong?

Go to Tools, then Options, then Content. See if the "load images automatically" option is checked. See if the exceptions (to the right) include some of the sites you mention. Also, are you using extensions and plugins (add-ons, that is) of any kind? If so, try disabling them or updating them. Not sure what you mean by overlaying text stubs, though.
