Can't install Installshield - Scripting Runtime

When I tried installing InstallShield 12 on Windows Vista RC 1, it looked like I couldn't – got hit with an application error. However, it turns out it did actually install and now it works, only now any install a develop ends up with a runtime error that I can't seem to trace. Should I try using XP for this, and would I be able to keep the installs Vista-compliant?

I don't see why not – you could always develop it in Win XP and then test it in Vista. Or do you think validation would be an issue? It shouldn't with IS 12, at least. I would imagine an application not being compliant with Vista would manifest differently than through a runtime error…
