Can't instal Quicktime 7.0 (Error 1402)!

I have tried to install quicktime 7.0, but I could not because I received message about error 1402. What does this error means? Have I some virus or something is wrong with software or hardware? I really need it! Could you be so kind and explain it to me? Oh, I hope that is something easy. Thank you.

It means that this program can not write registry. This error occurs in following cases: if you are not logged into account with administrator privileges or if you have earlier version of this program on your computer and now administrator account is different from the last one. So, to solve problem, in the first case, log into administrator account; or, in the second case, try to restore last one administrator account.
