| I have a small network with two desktop machines and a laptop, connected via the router mentioned above. Two of the computers have normal internet access, but one of them has recently lost it, I don't know why because nothing has been changed. It hangs on the "acquiring network address" bit, and won't renew IP. Any suggestions? |

Did you try disabling the firewall? Some firewalls, Zone Alarm free in particular, sometimes "resets" itself and needs to be restarted (turn off, connect, disconnect, turn on) to "remember" how to handle the connection.
Otherwise, do an "ipconfig/ all" at a command prompt, tell us what you see, and we'll take it from there.
