I set up a wireless LAN recently, connecting 2 desktops (Intel) and 1 laptop (Dell) through a Linksys router. All computers are running Windows XP. I'm having difficulties with the file sharing protocol … I set everything up according to instructions, named the workgroups and all, but I still can't share files. I get the Access Denied thing, with little or no further explanation. Could someone with more networking experience enlighten me, please? TIA.

It's always good to tackle the obvious ones first… Make sure your firewall is not blocking access to some clients. The easiest way to do this would be to disable it on every machine, including the ones that don't seem to have the problem, and see if that gets you access. If that works, turn the firewall back on, but reconfigure it, allowing access directly, preferably by individual IP.
