I have an e-mail stuck in my Inbox, and I can't get it out! It's a "normal" message, no attachments or nothing, though it is from an unknown address. When I click on it, Outlook just freezes and doesn't even show it in the preview pane. I have to Ctrl-Alt-Del to get back to Windows. I can't delete the message without clicking on it, can I? As advised, I tried updating Outlook from the MS site, but that didn't change a thing. What else can I try, short of reinstalling Office?

You may have tried this, but here it is anyway. From the View menu, choose Layout, and then uncheck "show preview pane". That should let you click and delete the message without actually accessing it. Make sure it's not left in your Recycle Bin by pressing Shift + Delete instead of just Delete. I hope that helps!
