I got a spam email message with some attachments the other day, and when trying to move it to Trash, I accidentally dropped it into Outbox. I didn't do a Send, of course, but now I can't delete it no matter what I try! As soon as I click on it in the Outbox, the machine starts struggling, and freezes after a moment or two. I have to restart with Ctrl-Alt-Del to get everything back. Anything I can do about this? If I click Send/Receive, will the spam mail get sent, and to whom?

Probably won't be sent, but I would still hold off send/receiving until after deleting it. One common method of deleting troubling messages in Outlook is to turn off the preview pane (View -> Layout) before clicking on it. This prevents it from being displayed, and possibly from doing whatever it is that crashes your computer. Also, you should make sure you have all the latest updates for your cop of Windows. Service Pack 2 corrects many Outlook-related problems.
