Hello there. I am having problems with my Acer laptop and I do not know what I am supposed to do to fix it. It is about my ACER laptop. Whatever I do I just cannot make my NIC to work. I really do not know what could be causing such behavior, but I thought that there is someone here who could help me out.

Hi there. I do not know what to tell you about it man. I think that you should most definitely check if you have the right drivers for your laptop. This can be the most often reason why your laptop is misbehaving. Now I must say that I had a kind of a similar situation, but with my Compaq laptop – the NIC would not function until the BIOS was updated.

Well, I really do not know what to tell you. I think it is the best for you to go to the website of the manufacturer, and see if there is something explained there. Now I have really heard about these situations, and I know that they are very often caused by various different things, and very often with operative system bugs. But I think it is the best for you to consult the manufacturer, and I think that you should try that.

Ok, I will try doing it. The problem is that I am not really very knowledgeable when it comes to computers, and I always need someone’s help in doing various things. I honestly think that I will have a problem solving this situation myself, even if I do find explanation given on their site. Now, Updating BIOS and stuff…well it all seems as science fiction to me! Anyway, thanks a lot for your help, I appreciate it.
