I have apple power book laptop. My little brother broke monitor (he broke it with crystal ashtray). I like my computer very much and now I dont know what to do. I have to tell you that monitor has just on chop in left side. I would try to replace it, but I dont know can this monitor be safely removed. If it can, please tell me how.

That is the problem with younger brothers and sisters. You can easily replace this broken monitor with new one. I will try to explain you how. First, take out its battery. You will see that every screw has rubber cup. Carefully remove this rubber, and then very carefully unscrew screws. If you arent cautious you can damage some connections in it. Then take off plastic and take out lcd. On its place put new one. Then everything screw down and thats it. One more time: be careful.
