| Hi. I have just installed Windows XP under VMware on Linux. Virtual partition where windows XP is, includes 6 gigs of virtual space. Now I can see that isnt enough, so how can I resize that partition? I need 4 more, which means 10 gigabytes for a primary active partition. Is it possible after all, under Wmware? Thanks. |

| Well, I must say that I never had any experience regarding your situation, but I know that Partition Magic can do a resize under many different circumstances. So why dont you try to install PT magic like inside the VMware, and see what options you got? Oh, and how does Gparted, similar tool as PT magic for Linux, will handle with your situation, outside WMware? Have you tried with Gparted? Anyway, there is a solution to change the default Program Files location in windows XP to another partition (using registry editor) , or just add one more disk partition, and there is more space. I am sure youll find the right solution. |
