| Hello! I have an AMD 2600+ PC and I instantly have a stick of 256 PC3200 DDR RAM installed, but I want to add a pair of sticks PC2700 DDR RAM that I have put around. Is it perhaps to use two frequencies of RAM alike? If so, do I have to reset my memory frequency settings in my BIOS? The speed is at 250Mhz x 2? I'd really incepted any reply, it would imply a lot to me. Thanks! |

| Hi! If it doesn't cause a clash with the various manufacturers stick then it can be made, but your ram will simply run as fast as the undermost speed of ram. If you install the sticks, and adjust your ram speed for total memory, that will slowdown speed to 2700. Likewise some motherboards will not endure the diverse ram speed. You can try to put both DDR ram memories. If you cant, call somebody who knows. It must be done preciously. |
