Hello! One of my clients tried to install pirate version of Windows vista, but (fortunately) installation could not be finished to the end. So, when he saw what he had done he called me. When I turned on computer, I was able to boot XP, but Vista still asked for continuing installation. Can I cancel Vista upgrade and if I can, how?

Hello! Unfortunately you cannot cancel Vista upgrade. Only you can do, regarding the fact that you still can boot Windows XP operating system, is to make backup of all important data. When you do that, then you will need to format hard drive completely and install new operating system (clean install). Hope this helps you!
