Hello. I am beginning to believe that every single file can be infected which includes Adobe Acrobat pdf files, too. I don’t know about mp3’s or single jpeg for example, but I do know that I never turn off my antivirus software. My situation is really strange. I have one PDF file on my desktop, that can be opened only from the second attempt. First try gives me nothing but a freeze and crash. What do you think about this? Thanks in advance.

Regarding computer infections and malicious codes, there is no place which those cannot find. Even inside single byte. So, keep your antivirus constantly updated. I suggest you to get rid of that file if it is true what are you saying. You can find embed malware code inside PDF trough attachment, for example, and if you don’t have proper utility for that, than I guess that you will be really happy to find it very quickly.
