| I’ve recently bought my first printer and since the quality of the printed material is very poor I think that is due to the fact that something is wrong with the printer I asked the tech support from the store I bought it at, and the guys told me to calibrate my printer. Now, I have no idea what that is and how to perform it. Any useful hints? |

| To put it very simply, it’s the adjustment of the printer so that you can see how what you’re printing is going to look like accurately. As you have noticed, the colors that you see on your screen differ from those that you see on the printed material. I don’t know why is that but the point is that by means of calibrating you can precisely see on your monitor what’s your picture or text going to look like when you print it. First thing to do is calibrate your monitor and after that find the settings on your printer called fine tuning. And when you coordinate and adjust those tow parameters, you’re going to be able to see the exact quality of the picture you’re printing. |
