Cable TV signal over ethernet?

I have recently been planning to start using the Cable TV. I think I have heard of a possibility to run the signal over the Ethernet and that this could be a better option than the standard one. However, I am really not sure what to do so if anyone could give me any advice, that would be great.

Introducing cable TV into your home is very often pretty complex work. Running the signal over the Ethernet really proves much better and more efficient. There is of course a way to do that.
