Hello! I have installed cable modem on my own. But, from some reason I do not have internet connection. I have connected cable from network card to modem. This is very unusual and I have never heard for similar case ever. Can you tell me something about this problem? What possible cause could be?

Hello! I suggest you to change cable which connects you’re computer and cable modem because maybe this cable has some interruption and because of that it is not working. But, if the cable is not a problem, could be your network card or even modem. Call your ISP technical support and tell them about your problem and they will tell you if you have problem with modem.
