Cán't uninstall Norton 2003

Hello everyone. Here is the story. I failed to uninstall Norton 2003 Antivirus, can not do this from Add\Remove Programs or anywhere else. I still have peaces of Norton all over my system and can not do installation over, because installation setup detect previous one and refuse to continue. Is there a different way to uninstall Norton from my computer? Can I manually do this?

I think it is not wise trying to do this manually. You can remove folders and files, but you will always have some leftovers in registry which will most probably still disturb new installation. Here is the link I suggest you to visit. Go to Symantec site and find link named: How to uninstall Norton AntiVirus 2003 or Norton AntiVirus 2003 Professional Edition. This is Document ID:2002061016251406. Find via search tool. This might help and probably will. I think you can download a tool that can completely remove previous installation of Norton from your computer. Anyway you will find instructions whatever for whatever OS you use.
