Ok first off i was wondering if by some chance my c drive got files doubled over somehow. Here is what happened to me.Last month i lost a file that my puter need to run.I did research on it and found out that i had to redo windows xp to restore it. So i did a system recovery from the recoery in the computer. After doing this i noticed when i went in to defrag , that i went from 59 percent free space to 40 percent free space. Also when i ran a virus check i noticed that it checked part of my c drive twice. What im asking is there any way by doing a system recovery it doubled files ,or part of my c/ drive in any way. And if so, what do i need to do to fix this? Oh i am using windows xp sevice pack 2 and IE 7. Thanks in advance to any help...Greg
