Hello. I have found one ancient computer at my basement. Strangely enough it is working so I decide to play with it for a while. I have tried to connect this computer to DSL modem via for Intel Etherexpress pro 10 card but I was unsuccessful. I think that I should set COM port configuration, if I remember well about this things. What is your opinion?

Hello. This is an ancient computer and that network card - is it ISA or PCI. I do not think that COM port settings are that important because these cards worked with default settings. Have you considered that this card is malfunction? Anyway, try to find some information on Intel web site. They do not support products like that any more but they have technical documentation. I wish you luck with this hardware.
