| Ah, not a problem, I am here to help. Every day a new PC user is joining our club so answering on this one will do good to all the newbie’s. Click Start, then Control Panel, open with double click Date and Time Icon and Date and Time Properties window will appear with 3 tabs Date & Time, Time Zone and Internet Time. In first you can set the clock and calendar, in second chose the Time zone in which you are currently living and with checking the box Automatically adjust for daylight saving changes your clock will every time make them by itself, so no need to act manually like there is a need for that for hand watches and all the other clocks you have in your room. In third tab you can synchronize the clock with the Internet time by checking the offered Automatically synchronize with an Internet time sever box. That option will completely work if you have 24 hours Internet connection and that it’s not being blocked by the firewall that has been installed on your PC, so then without problem managing to connect to the time server of the network that you are using right now.If you don’t have all time Internet connection (cable modem, DSL) synchronization could fail sometimes, but you can easily fix that problem by clicking on Update Now button on the Internet time tab. Of course all this action you must then finish with giving the order (command) for “changes approve” by clicking on Apply and OK buttons. |
