Hello. I have a strange problem with CD device. It stopped working. When I insert CD media I can not access it. There is a yellow exclamation mark beside CD device in device manager. It obviously has some problems with drivers but when I uninstall it and install it again everything finishes without errors. But, then again device manager reports that device drivers are missing or corrupted. Can you help me with this one?

Hello there. You should tell me what model of CD device you have. Also, check manufacturer web site and see if they have some information about this issue. Download latest firmware from their web site and update your CD device. Delete UpperFilters and LowerFilters from following registry key: “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}”
