Whenever I use CD or DVD device it shuts down my PC. I have LG CD ROM and NEC DVD ROM. I have tried with music, data, movies and anything else I could remember but optical drives are shutting down my computer. This is really annoying. Do you have some suggestion for me regarding this problem?

Hello. First thing that came to my mind is StarForce protection. This protection is used in gaming industry and can make some really nasty problems including the one you described. Sometimes when you uninstall game StarForce drivers stay on your system. To uninstall them use StarForce Cleaner utility that can be obtained from their web site. You can try manual removal but I would not recommend you this approach if you are not proficient with computers.
