Hello! I have LG CD writer. This CD writer served me well for years, but since last week it started to acting very strange. Namely, it burns discs, but it cannot read them. I have updated drivers for it, try to reinstall it, clean it but nothing helped. Please, advise me what I should to do to fix it. Thank you!

Hello! You will need to take it to repair center. Namely, every CD writer has two pairs of lasers. One pair for burning discs and the other for reading discs. It seems to me that your pair of lasers for reading discs are broken, so, you will need to take this drive on repair. Also, you can even buy new writer regarding the fact that they are not expensive nowadays.
