| If I get it right, you did not experience that problem lately. If that is true, then you should remember what you did on your PC today in last couple of weeks. If you don't have that possibility in your BIOS, there is no other way to change your CD RW PIO mode. However, I don't think that is causing your problems. Your problem could be caused by many other reasons. First, you could install some new driver or software that could cause your problem with CD RW. Second, maybe your CD RW has some temporary problem. Then you should try to reinstall your drivers. You could try to change the type of medium you use. You also may have some virus or adware. Therefore, you should do a complete anti-virus check of your machine. If nothing of this helps you, you must search professional help, because your CD RW is probably physically damaged. |
