Hello! I have DVD burner and CD RW on the same IDE cable. I have attached CD RW yesterday. I do not know why, but my CD RW does not work at all. Is this some CD RW conflict or other? I assume that could be conflict because CD is Asus and DVD is NEC. Can you help me with this?

Hello! I think that causes of your problem are jumpers. I think that you did not configure them well. I think that both of them are set as master and that is why your CD RW does not work. You will need to open computer case and pull out CD RW and set its jumpers as slave because on same IDE cable both drives cannot be master.
