| Hi! I have just realized that I need a new DVD burner. Well, I need to back up my files so I need an extra 40 Gb of space. Should I buy a Pioneer or Lite-on what do you think? I will also use it to carry it around, you know. To copy some data from my friends and school. So, maybe I should purchase an external device. Does external device costs more money then internal? |

| If you need a huge amount of data, its best to buy an external hard drive, not DVD burner. But you also need it for school, right. My recommendation is to buy a Pioneer device. Why? Well, I have been using it for a couple of years and it works fine. It works like the first day I purchased it. An external device would be more expensive then external. But the difference is like, 50-100 $, nothing much. With a Pioneer you also get the newest version of Nero and a few empty medias. There is software which allows you to back up your files automatically, without even having to press the button. You can purchase any of this stuff on Ebay. Its much cheaper, so for a same amount of money you can get both external and internal. Think about it, they are all very similar and if you choose a Pioneer it will work forever. Pioneer is definitively the best option here. |
