| My Philips DVD just died, so I want to replace it with new one. Which one should I choose? Everybody is telling me to buy a Pioneer. I want to use it occasionally, not for multiplying. I am not a pirate. And of course when I play a game from CD, I want it to work with full sped. And I dont want my movie to stop during a play. Philips was working for a long time. 2 years or so. But Its hard to find Philips nowadays, and they say its not so good. Which on e should I use? |

| Your friends are completely right. Pioneer 109D is excellent choice, because there is no alternative for it. Dont get me wrong, DVD burners are very cheap today. You could buy new one every week. But, why would you wanted to replace your DVD if it does a great job. Their price is about 50 dollars, for knew one. You can always check second-hand sites. The thing about these sites is that you can never know whether its broken or not. There are also very expensive SCSI drives. If you are willing to spend 200 dollars, then I recommend you LG. You cant go wrong with LG. LG is also Pioneers biggest competitor, so if you still want to buy a IDE drive, think about a LG. Good bye! |
