I bought my first PC month ago and I haven't used computers before. Also I have never burned cd or dvd. Several times I put dvd media to my dvd rom and try to burn .avi files and tried to find buttons for burning, but I couldn't. Please tell me where these buttons are?

First of all, you have to stop try to search buttons. You can get software for burning or you can do that from windows (if you are using that OS). Burning dvds from windows going like this:
copy file which you want to burn and then paste it to dvd. You'll get a question something like this "write this files...". It's the easiest way.
I'm using nero (program which you can buy). Procedure for nero is:
double click your nero express icon on the desktop; then choose data dvd, then add wanted files (add button), click next, then burn and, when burning is completed, finish.
