I have several DVDs I would like to rip for back-up purposes. All DVDs are movie DVDs an d I have noticed that I can save them in Video_TS format or in ISO format. Can you tell me which format is better and why. I would really appreciate any answer you can give me because these movies are of great importance to me. Thank you in advance for your time.

Hello there. I guess that there is no real difference between VIDEO_TS and ISO format. He files are the same and you are not making any compression or encoding here. If you plan to use these movies only on computer and to burn them again on DVD media then ISO format is better. Otherwise, you should use Video_TS. Bottom line is that it really does not matter.
