Burning Problems with Nero

I have burning problems with Nero. I have bought new DVD burner (ASUS) and installed it correctly. It can read DVDs and CDs but when I want to burn a DVD or CD Nero is not giving me an option to use this burner. It reports the no burning device is present in my system. Do you know the solution for this problem?

This is a common burning problem with Nero when you have an outdated version of software. When DVD (or other optical device) is new then Nero (and any other burning software) can not recognize it if it is an old version of software. You should update your Nero installation and then everything should work fine. Current version of Nero is 8.
