Is it true that browser market share is changing? I have seen some articles indicating that there are changes of this market and I really don’t understand how come that Internet Explorer based browsers are still among the most popular and most frequently used. I simply don’t like IE and its spinoffs. There are several reasons for that. I vote for Opera!

Well, you are among the majority. I was also surprised to realize that only a comparatively small number of people are using Opera. I agree with you that it is great especially when it comes to transfers. If you are downloading something and the transfer is being interrupted you can easily resume it if you are using Opera. The transfer will continue at the exact same spot where it stopped. And as far as I remember it is not like that with Internet Explorer. Still, I don’t think that the market share has changed so significantly. It is still in favor of Gecko based browsers because only about 40% of the shares belong to IE based browsers.
