Hello! I have Plextor burner and since few days ago I have problem with it. Namely, since few days ago this Plextor burner cannot read or burn CDs. I really do not know what I need to do to fix this. I have tried to burn discs using Nero and directly from my Windows XP, but nothing helped.

Hello! I think that you will need to buy new burner, because your Plextor burner is broken. Just to make sure that I am right, check in device Manager if it is recognized at all. Also, you can try to change IDE cable, but I think that nothing of these will help you. Fortunately, burners are cheap nowadays.
