| I also tie to the things I posses, and it is hard for me to throw them away. However, that is the exact thing I would advise you to do. You did not tell us what type an Acer monitor you have. Is it CRT or TFT? In both cases, repairing would cost much more then buying a new one. If it is CRT monitor, its price is very small, so you could buy a new one very cheap. If it is a TFT monitor then it is complete electronic and logic is inside the screen, so the screen is very much expensive. Replacing it would cost at least 80% of the price of the new one. Therefore, because your monitor is four years old its guarantee period has gone and I advise you to buy a new one. |
