I have heard about bridge mode in wireless networking but I don not know what it is. I am very curious because I am trying to learn something about networking and I am collecting as much knowledge as I can. So, I would kindly ask you to clarify me what is bridge mode in wireless networking. Thank you for your time and patience.

Bridge mode in wireless networking allows two or more access points to establish connection between each other. This is made for purpose of joining two or more networks and creating one big network which can be very useful in large companies. There are different devices on market and some of them allow single point to point connection and others allow connection with many other access points (single to multipoint). In bridging mode, access points connect to wired LAN and communicate between each other via wireless LAN. Access point can be configured for bridging through configuration option.
