Booting issues with external HD

I have some booting issues with external HD. I have bought new computer. And I want to transfer my data from old to a new computer. But I cannot boot my external HD. I don’t know what to do. I don’t know what I am doing wrong. So, I need advice from someone that has more experience with this things.

I really cannot understand you people! You are trying to do the things that you don’t know anything about. And that is not very smart thing. Booting is serious thing. And you must know what you are doing in order to do that process well. I tried to do the same things some time ago. And I was only a newbie then. So, I tried to do the same thing that you are trying to do now. And I tried and tried, and I was not able to succeed. So I took my computer in the service. They needed only an hour to locate and fix my problem. So all that time that I tried to fix it alone was stupid, and lost forever.
