I have a problem with my XP drive. I think that the partition is bad. I'm using Windows XP, and I used Partion Magic to devide my drive. The XP hardrive's type is Type 07. I tried using Active Partition Recovery to repair it, but it says my boot sector is corrupt. Is there any way to repair the boot sector?

You weren’t really clear on what exsactly happened to your hd but I’ll try to help you. I think that you should boot using your XP cd and then go into ‘Consule Recovery’. There you’ll be able to run the fixboot & fixmbr command. This should definitely help you. Please write again if it hadn’t and give me some more details on what’s wrong with your hd
