Black Screen On Start Up

This morning when I switched on computer, he started working. I mean, little light start blinking. After some time I realized that my computer would not start. Help. What black screen on start up means? If someone knows something please share with me. Any help is welcomed.

You got black screen on start up. That can be serious problem or something stupid. Something like that happened to me once. It was very stupid and silly solution for my problem. When I shut down the computer I forgot to take out my floppy disk. So my computer didnt start until I realized what I had done. But it doesnt have to be the same problem like yours. It can mean that something is wrong with your Windows, so you must install it again. I hope that some of this is your problem. I hope that it is only software problem, because it is not very bad situation.. If you find out what went wrong, please share with me.
