Two years ago, I bought a computer. I have a Sound blaster 5.1 PCI card and 5.1 Philips speakers. I managed to save some money in the last two months. Now I want to invest that money in buying some better sound card then my Sound blaster. Could you help me, please?

If you want to find a card with better sound output then Creative Sound blaster 5.1 you will most certainly fail. Your sound card has always been a legend among the fans of good sound quality. Today, it was not lose its advantage. However, if you want to compose something then you should think about Sound blaster inheritor. That is Creative Audigy series of sound cards. Their prices vary greatly. It starts from 30 euros and it could reach couple of hundred of euros. That is why you should inform precisely what you need. The best way is to ask among your friends does anybody has some of audigy sound cards. If you find somebody with that card, go there and see its capabilities from the first hand.
