Hi there. I am about to overclock my PC. I want to see the true power of Core II duo processor. But, recently I have heard that pretty much of overclocking potential is actually depending on the thermal paste. Not every thermal paste is capable to conduct the heat that much efficient. Is this true? Thanks in advance.
Hello. I think that you can try out that “thing” in the gum shape which is on the heatsink bottom side of the cooler. It will do. Only if you are not planning to raise the CPU speed pretty much higher than regular or predicted. In that case I would suggest you to put Artic Silver 5. Many great experiences with that.
